More About This Event
Glenn Brown in conversation with Marco Livingstone
Join us in the private residence of Nevill Holt Hall for an exclusive event with leading artist Glenn Brown. The intimate setting offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the artist as he discusses his life and work with curator and art historian Marco Livingstone, underneath his masterpiece The Pornography of Death (Painting for Ian Curtis) in the historic Great Hall.
The conversation will focus on the last few years, touching on the artist’s foray into curating shows at The Brown Collection since its opening in October 2022 and soon in Florence’s Museo Novecento (2026-27), his steps towards murals and shell grotto environments, premiering in UK shows in 2026, and the continuation of the drawings and paintings created in response to antique frames.
Glenn will also shed light on the exhibition at London’s Freud museum, The Sight of Something: Glenn Brown and Matthew Weir, which opened just this week.
