Sarah Vine was born in Wales and raised in Italy before returning to the UK as a teenager. A graduate of UCL, she built a career in journalism at the Daily Mirror and The Times, where she met future Cabinet minister Michael Gove. They married in 2001 and separated in 2021. Sarah is now an award-winning columnist for the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday. She lives in London with her children and an unruly menagerie of pets.
