Aasmah Mir is a triple award-winning broadcaster who has worked for the BBC, ITV and Times Radio over a 25 year career. She has written extensively for the The Sunday Times – including for 3 years of the popular Week Ending column – for The Telegraph, Vogue and Good Housekeeping.

David Olusoga

David Olusoga is the author of acclaimed books including Black & British: A Forgotten History, The World’s War and Black History for Every Day of the Year, co-written with his sisters.

Professor of Public History at the University of Manchester and a columnist for The Observer, David created the landmark documentaries Black & British: A Forgotten History and the BAFTA-winning Britain’s Forgotten Slave Owners. A recipient of the British Academy’s President’s Medal and a BAFTA Special Award, he is a Fellow of the British Academy, the Royal Society of Literature, the Royal Society of Arts and the Royal Historical Society.
